Our giving promise

Every client makes two children’s lives a little brighter.

Good advice should ripple outward. So for every client who joins Sow Financial, we give to two children who need it: one here in Aotearoa, and one overseas. No opt-in, no admin. It simply happens.

The pledge

$100 of good, for every hello.

When we welcome a new client, we make two $50 donations on their behalf, because building your future shouldn’t come at the cost of someone else’s.

Reaches around the world

Two children. One decision to work with us. That’s the deal.

Who we give to

Two charities we trust with it.

Aotearoa New Zealand · nationwide

For more than 30 years, Variety has helped Kiwi kids growing up in hardship, sickness or disability. A donation buys the everyday essentials too many children go without: school uniforms and stationery, a warm bed, glasses, mobility and medical gear, and a chance to join in on the activities every kid deserves. Every dollar stays here in New Zealand.

The Pacific, Asia, Africa & beyond

ChildFund NZ works alongside communities in some of the toughest places throughout the Pacific, Asia, Africa and beyond. Their work supports the things children need to succeed in life: health and nutrition, safe drinking water, education, and protection from harm. Having long-term partnerships with locally led projects means communities are supported in the ways they actually need, and the change is lasting.

Why we do this

Money was never the point. Freedom is.

The freedom we help people build isn’t a bigger pile of money. It’s no longer being ruled by it, and having room to be generous. Handled well, money becomes a quiet joy: for the life you’re building, and for people you’ll never meet whose whole year it changes. Held too tightly, it does the opposite: it starts to run you. Giving is how we keep it in its place. It’s the simplest proof that money is a tool to serve people (yourself and others), not something to be served.

Your move

Don’t wait until you’ve “made it.”

You don’t need to be wealthy to change a child’s whole year. You just have to decide. A little given today beats a lot promised for “someday.” Pick a charity, give what feels right, and feel money do something good. Every dollar is theirs, not ours.

Already give somewhere else? Even better, keep going.

The fine print, honestly. The donations described here are Sow Financial’s own contributions, made from our funds when a client comes on board. They cost you nothing and are not conditional on any product or advice. Variety and ChildFund New Zealand are independent registered charities; we’re a supporter, not a spokesperson, and nothing here implies they endorse us. Map locations reflect where each charity runs programmes and are illustrative, not a statement that a particular donation funded a particular project.
